11.15.09 » So I finally logged into my deformative.net control panel for the first time in about 2 years..... only to find that people actually still visit! (Thank you!) I know the guestbook hasn't been working for about 3 years, and I promise to fix that. The site I use (signmyguestbook.com) hasn't been working, which is why I can't fix it - but it's hard for me to start up a whole new guestbook when I've had that one for 8 years.

Anyway, now I am further inspired to actually re-do this page (see previous entry dated 10.17.09 for details). The conflict I'm experiencing is that I would like to simplify the page so that the content is the main focus (as opposed to the web design or aesthetic appeal); however, I feel that I may end up selling myself short, in terms of my HTML ability, as a result. I am capable of creating a fancy-schmancy page with all kind of tricks and extras, but I think that takes away from the content - so I am trying to find a balance in between. Now if I could just get the time to sit down and focus...

Bottom line: deformative.net is not dead!
